Cowhide two-layer leather is flat and has no obvious defects after embossing, while pigskin two-layer leather often has three piles of pores faintly visible, which have a dull luster. When distinguishing between shaved leather and front leather, it is important to note that shaved leather destroys the original grain layer and then presses patterns. The patterns can be imitated from cow, sheep, pig leather, etc., but the patterns do not have pores and float on the surface of the leather. On the front leather, pores exist and can be identified by careful observation.
